The initial escrow from HELL!!!! After several times of trying to negotiate with a seller on our first deal and docs had been signed….seller backs out on me… worst experience ever! We thought we had our dream home. Lucky for us our agent was able to remedy the situation and was able to get out deposit back along with having the lender credit us for the appraisal we had already paid for. The astonishing team, Christopher Perea and Meeko at ReMAX are very friendly. He would always get back to us in a timely manner and would even answer his phone when we called him late at night desperate for an answer on our search for our home. He worked extremely hard to get our loan approved on time despite issues that could have delayed it. Chris was always patient with all of our questions and had the determination to get us the house in our price range that we wanted. Chris would always be on top of what new houses came out on the market for us to see and would take us to see them. Once we found the house we wanted Chris to immediately place our offer to the seller. Since he was fast on that, they accepted our offer and placed us in escrow. When we were in escrow Chris made sure the process was going well at all times with a follow up phone call to us with status of our closing. After being in escrow for about a month we were finally able to get our new house that we were then able to call “home sweet home”. We met while we were at the City Hall Building and Safety Department applying for a permit to replace a fence that was beyond repair. For some reason our neighbors refused to share cost and as time went by we gave up on having them share the cost. They still refused to cooperate by signing to allow us to do it. Let me start by saying that I’m not one to write reviews online, but I felt that my experience with Chris had to be shared and hopefully help someone who is on the fence. I recently hired Chris to sell my condo in Irvine and he went above and beyond of what I was expecting. You hear that phrase often, going above and beyond but you never realize what that really entails until you experience it first hand. Chris not only handled my high expectations of what an agent should be but helped calm my nerves throughout the whole process. Chris provided me with contacts that I used to remodel the kitchen and Master bathroom before putting the property on the market.
